The nurse will independently utilize the nursing process to coordinate care for patients within the Surgical Services Float Pool. Responsibilities include delegating tasks, serving as a clinical resource for new employees, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
We are hiring a Pre OP PACU Registered Nurse for our Surgical Services Float Pool team. This is a full time day shift position that will float between 4 of our main hospital locations in Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, North Kansas City, and Plaza areas.
Hours of shift may vary between 8, 10 or 12 hours based on organizational needs. Schedules are written 8 – 10 weeks in advance. Part Time Days 24 hours per week.
In this position you will work with various conditions, procedures, and acuity levels. Our Plaza location is a Magnet Level 1 Trauma Academic Medical Center.
