Part-time Outpatient/PHP General Psychiatrist Location: Gulfport, MS (Tele-psychiatry or on-site) Gulfport Behavioral Health System is a specialty hospital located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for more than 33 years. Gulfport Behavioral provides a full range of treatment options, including outpatient therapy, day treatment and inpatient services for children as young as 4 years of age, adolescents, and adults. We are dedicated to helping patients develop the skills necessary to live a life of long-term recovery and health. Position Overview: Role: Part-time Outpatient/PHP position, 20 hours per week. Patient Population: ages 18 and older Schedule: Monday-Friday 12 PM - 4 PM CST Caseload: will vary Employment Type: Part-time hourly position Key Responsibilities: Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for patients. Participate in treatment team meetings. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Education: Board Certification in General Psychiatry.
Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
Mississippi medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
Must be comfortable treating child-adult populations.
Participation in meetings when requested by CEO.
