The Surgery Technician is responsible for preparing and maintaining the sterile environment, equipment, and instrumentation for operative deliveries and procedures. They support the healthcare team by anticipating surgeon needs and ensuring efficient operating room turnover.
Completion of Surgical Tech Program; AHA BLS certification from 60 days of hire and maintained; flexibility and strong organizational skills; excellent communication and customer service skills; excellent prioritization and follow through skills; ability to function professionally in urgent or emergent situations.
Preferred: One year previous Obstetrics or Surgical experience; training in aseptic technique and environmental cleaning
Medium to heavy physical demands. Ability to stoop frequently, reach from floor to overhead level occasionally, push/pull up to 100 pounds frequently, lift up to 50 pounds. Work under daily stress and constant time demands.
