Description Clinician - Children's General Outpatient Salary

  • $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
  • Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 hours per week

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES) … We are seeking licensed clinicians to provide assessment and treatment in our Children's General Outpatient Team. In this position you will have a critical role both delivering direct services and as a clinical consultant to the multi-disciplinary team.

Main

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide home-based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to children and families. Deliver comprehensive mental health services to children, parents, and families in various settings. Maintain client records. Coordinate team services to comply with recovery plans. Demonstrate innovative problem-solving, crisis intervention, and management skills. Collaborate within a team to offer interventions including therapy, crisis response, consultation, advocacy, and linkages. Collaborate with other professionals to ensure adherence to credentialing requirements. Collaborate closely with the CGOP Team Leader. Conduct evaluations and assist in formulating recovery goals and strategies for families and teams. Provide treatment in various settings such as homes, communities, and schools. Offer therapeutic interventions including child therapy, parent guidance, couple therapy, family therapy, crisis response, school consultation, case management, advocacy, and service delivery, emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Meet documentation deadlines. Participate in supervision and case presentations. Contribute to special projects such as consultation, prevention programs, and community education, emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU… Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, family therapy or a related clinical field. Licensed at the independent practice level as defined by the Rhode Island Department of Health (LICSW) preferred. LCSW and LMHC will also be considered. Minimum of two years of clinical work experience. Credentialed or eligible to be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional through the Department of BHDDH within 2 months of employment. Has knowledge base and can access all resources for hospitalization and crisis stabilization/hospital diversion. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and genuine outlook about change with a belief that people can achieve positive outcomes.
