We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Dual-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing integrated care team. The ideal candidate will provide both primary care and psychiatric services to patients across the lifespan, helping to improve health outcomes through a holistic, team-based approach. This position offers the unique opportunity to practice at the top of your license while collaborating with primary care providers, psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, and support staff.
Perform comprehensive health assessments, physical examinations, and preventive care visits.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe medications and monitor therapeutic outcomes.
Provide patient education regarding disease prevention and health maintenance.
Coordinate referrals to specialty providers as needed.
Behavioral Health Services
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, substance use disorders, and other behavioral health conditions.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly.
Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and case managers to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs when applicable.
General Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Ensure compliance with federal, state, payer, and organizational regulations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Support integrated care initiatives that improve patient access and outcomes.
Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Current, unrestricted Nevada APRN license.
Board certification as both: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) DEA registration with prescriptive authority.
Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans.
Current BLS certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
Experience in integrated behavioral health settings. Experience treating patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Requires a Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with dual board certification as an FNP and PMHNP. Must hold a current, unrestricted Nevada APRN license and DEA registration.
