Registered Nurse Job Duties

Works collaboratively with patients, families and other health care providers to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of assigned patients. Follows nursing Standards of Practice to ensure quality, safe patient care. Provides supervisory oversight to assigned staff, and effectively manages supplies, equipment and other resources.

Qualifications

  • Nursing Associate Degree or Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Nebraska or Compact state; Current CPR/BLS. ACLS, PALS, NRP and S.T.A,B.L.E. within one year of hire

Licensed Practical Nurse Job Duties

  • Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse or licensed practitioners, the Licensed Practical Nurse applies the nursing process and executes diagnostic or therapeutic regimens prescribed by licensed practitioners, including limited intravenous therapy interventions as applicable.
  • Works collaboratively with patients, families and other health care providers to assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Follows nursing standards of practice.
  • To ensure quality, safe patient care.
  • Effectively manages supplies, equipment, and other resources.

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma, currently licensed as an LPN; Current CPR/BLS, permitted to provide IV therapy. Experience preferred.

Schedule

Full-Time; variable evenings and rotating weekend/holidays, 7: 00pm-7:00am

Requirements

Requires a valid RN or LPN license in Nebraska or a Compact state and current CPR/BLS certification. An Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing is required, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred for RNs.
