Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions 1. Under supervision participates in designated education sessions with patients. Pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. 2. Provides basic patient care with minimal supervision within established policies and the assigned patient’s plan of care. Pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. 3. Documents observations, interactions, care and treatment provided in clear and concise manner. 7. Monitors and assists patients with dietary needs, strives to ensure compliance with ordered diet. Pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. 9. Collects specimens as directed, ensures correct identification and labeling. 11. Conducts and completes personal and belonging search following guidelines of procedure with accurate documentation, labeling of belongings, and indicated distribution and storage. 12. Accurately follows directions of licensed personnel. 13. Adheres to policies and procedure and demonstrates practices that ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, co-workers and self. 14. CPR certification. 15. MOAB certification.
Psych Tech II-BS degree preferably in psychology or social services.
Health care experience is desirable.
