  • Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
  • Safely restrain animals for procedures
  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection
  • Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures
  • Take and develop radiographs (X-rays)
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
  • Provide clear client communication and discharge instructions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment and hospital areas
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment

Qualifications

  • Veterinary Technician experience required (3 + years)
  • Certification/Licensure (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of animal handling and restraint techniques
  • Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and surgical support preferred
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Knows how to work IDEXX machines in-house
  • Team player with a positive and professional attitude
  • Experience with Avimark is a plus

Requirements

Requires over 3 years of Veterinary Technician experience with strong animal handling skills. Certification (CVT, LVT, or RVT) and proficiency with IDEXX machines are preferred.
