We are looking for a talented NP-PA for our cardiology practice - inpatient & outpatient.
Part-time – 32 hours.
Day shift – weekend, holiday rotation.
Under the general supervision and direction of the Physician, Office Manager or designee, conduct hospital rounds as directed by individually assigned Physician. Assess assigned patient progress and assist in the coordination of care and discharge planning. Perform exams, episodic illness visits and follow-up care visits which may require ordering laboratory testing and prescribing medications as needed. Act as a resource and/or consultant to phone triage nurses and take phone calls from patients as requested. Chart all findings completely and accurately in accordance with (Current Procedural Terminology) CPT billing regulations pertaining to patient visits.
Physician Assistant: Bachelors Degree in a related field is required. Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required. Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required. Nurse Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required. Over 3 months experience. Pay Range USD $60.64 - USD $77.65 /Hr.
Requires a Bachelor's and certification for Physician Assistants, or a Master of Science in Nursing and certification for Nurse Practitioners. Must possess a valid Massachusetts RN registration and have over 3 months of experience.
