About the role

Provide outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in both office and virtual settings. Responsibilities include completing assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes while contributing to the growth of the practice.

Outpatient Mental Health Therapist (child, family, adult)

Part-time to Full-time (in office and remote; hybrid position) Are you ready to make a career move that is exciting, challenging, and rewarding? We have that opportunity if you are licensed in the state of Virginia as an LPC or LCSW and have a desire to work with children and families! Strong preference for Registered Play Therapists or those with training in play therapy. MySpectrum is offering outpatient counseling and coaching to children and adults, focusing on the Autism Spectrum, Substance Abuse Spectrum, Mental Health Spectrum, and Whole Life Spectrum. We are recruiting for an LPC or LCSW Therapist who specializes in play therapy, child therapy, and family therapy (with opportunity to balance the caseload with adult clients as well) in an outpatient setting with a particular focus on children and adolescents. If you find yourself to be an out-of-the-box thinker and relationship-driven Therapist, this may be a good fit for you. We are seeking a Therapist who enjoys their work, likes to have fun, and is passionate about offering the most creative and innovative ways to treat clients. We want to serve clients who haven't otherwise been able to find the right fit for therapy, who don't fit the mold of other practices who have more narrow focuses, and most of all, want to reduce the stigma associated with receiving therapy. If you have a special niche, and are wanting to find a place where you can build an established client base in an outpatient setting, MySpectrum will create a home for you. **Instead of worrying about building your own private practice, we will do that for you while offering a team setting for clinical collaboration.*

Virginia behavioral health roles need CSAC licensure

Behavioral-health roles in Virginia commonly draw steady demand as agencies and treatment programs look for clinicians who can support counseling, care coordination, and recovery services. These positions are competitive because a valid CSAC license is required, while a psychology or counseling degree and treatment-industry experience are preferred; benefits often include PTO and health-related coverage. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this platform to save time, and confirm your licensure details before applying.
