Role Purpose The Staff LPN Ambulatory is responsible for providing direct patient care under the direction of a physician or other licensed provider in an ambulatory care setting. Assigned tasks may include rooming patients, obtaining vitals, administering medications in-office, performing point of care lab testing, assisting with procedures and triaging patient phone calls. All responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with applicable state regulations.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification. No prior nursing or supervisory experience is required, though an Associate or Trade School degree is preferred.
