Description

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a General Cardiothoracic Surgeon as we continue to grow the Christine E.

Lynn Heart & Vascular Institute.

The new physician will join a well-established program at its Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care, comprised of fellowship-trained experts across all heart and vascular specialties, and providing mini-mally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures.

Full-Time Opportunity Robotic experience is preferred, but not required Preferred candidate will possess experience in all aspects of adult Cardiothoracic Surgery including, but not limited to, TAVRs, CABGs, Mitral Valve Repair and Replacements, Coronary Artery Bypass, and Aortic Aneurism Repairs BHSF is academically affiliated with Florida International University (FIU) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU), and engages in multi-disciplinary research, including 60+ clinical trials offering access to emerging therapies in cardiovascular care Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care offers care at all hospitals and multiple specialty centers, including the nationally recognized flagship institutes – Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, and Christine E.

Qualifications

Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery Additional fellowship training or subspecialty interest or experience welcomed but not required

Must hold an MD/DO from an accredited institution and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery. Requires an active and unrestrictive medical license.
