By joining the Indian River team as a Registered Echo Technician, you will oversee the quality assessment not only of the equipment but also our caregivers, which in turn helps aid to a positive patient experience. This role will provide you with plenty of hands-on learning and can act as a steppingstone to other careers within the field at Cleveland Clinic.
00AM – 4:30PM, with on-call requirements.
Perform echocardiograms, stress tests, stress echoes and Dobutamine stress echo.
Assist cardiologist with transesophageal echocardiograms.
Consult with cardiologists for interpretation of test results.
Maintain records of testing documentation.
Provide daily account of patient's charge requisition with appropriate ICD9 codes.
Provide training and acts as a resource for echocardiogram students, residents and physicians.
Provide testing for add-on emergency patients.
Always maintain complete and up-to-date documentation and files, including products and service quotes.
• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
