Job Summary and Responsibilities As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs.
Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging.
This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
Maintains professional development and education for technical competency. $25,000 sign on bonus and up to $24,000 in educational assistance!
Job Requirements Required Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, upon hire and Medical Radiographer: KY, upon hire and Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, within 12 - months and Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire Preferred Previous experience in CT not essential for all positions, upon hire
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology school and hold a Kentucky Medical Radiographer license and BLS-CPR certification. ARRT registration in Radiography is required within 12 months of hire.
