Performs all aspects of Laboratory testing, to include specimen collections, scheduling, sample processing, analytical testing, and equipment maintenance. Processing of test requests for all outpatient & inpatient services. Performs Point of Care, waived, moderate, and high complexity testing. If in a clinic setting will register patients and obtain x-ray images. This position may require travel among all KVH locations.
What is required... MA-P or MA-C license from the Washington State Department of Health within 12 months of hire (maintenance required) Based on level of degree; Completion of an approved 4-year MT/MLS program with MT/MLS certification obtained within six months of hire OR completion of all science credits that meet the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) for moderate and high complexity testing with on-the-job training and MT/MLS certification. Wage: Wage range depends on level of education. Actual wage will be determined by years of applicable experience. For our MLT/MLS staff we have create a career progression ladder, based on the level of competency in all areas of the lab. MLS Tier 1 = $35.79 - 54.24 MLT Tier 1 = $28.90 - $43.80 FTE: 1.0 = 40 hours/week
