This position is responsible for preparing and providing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment to support surgical procedures. The role involves maintaining the sterile field, anticipating, and responding to the needs of the surgical team. It requires providing care and assistance to patients of all ages, including newborns, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program, or
Minimum of 2 years of surgical scrub experience with related clinical training (e.g., LPN, Military).
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
American Heart Association BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
If Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), must maintain an active Minnesota LPN license.
