In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering comprehensive anesthetic care to patients undergoing surgical and procedural interventions. Collaborating closely with surgical teams, you will ensure the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. Your expertise will directly impact the quality of care provided, making this position instrumental to our operational goals.
Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and prepare patients effectively Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patient recovery Manage any anesthesia-related complications as they arise Provide guidance and support to nursing staff and other medical personnel Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Stay current with best practices and innovations in anesthesiology
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Current board certification in Anesthesiology Valid medical license to practice in the state of Nebraska Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient care Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Experience in managing diverse patient populations Prior experience in a clinical anesthesiology setting is preferred
Schedule: Fridays, 5p–7a; Saturdays and Sundays, 7a–7a
Duties: Independent Cases
Ortho, labor & delivery, spine, GI, gynecology, urology, cath lab, interventional radiology, bariatric bypass, minimal vascular cases
Support Staff: Anesthesia providers, CRNA, Anesthesia Tech
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
BLS & DEA required
Paid travel & expenses
