Job description

What You'll Do

Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies. Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments.

Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.

Passes instruments to the physician during surgery. Continually accounts for the number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.

Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory.

What You Bring

Education: Completion of an accredited post-Secondary surgical technology program. New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.

Compensation information

$23.20 - $40.60

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials. Requirements

Completion of an accredited post-secondary Surgical Technology program is required, and CST certification is preferred. BLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
