  • Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring an experienced Medical Transcriptionist to work full-time days (0600-1430) in the Anatomic Pathology Lab! *This is a remote position for Virginia Only Overview Transcribe medical reports recorded by Physicians and other healthcare providers using various electronic devises, covering office visits, emergency rooms visits, diagnostic imaging studies, operations, chart reviews and final summaries. Transcribe dictated reports and translate abbreviations into fully understandable form. Edit, return reports in either printed or electronic form for review and signature, or correction and store in the medical record either electronically or in paper form Education HS – High School Grad or Equivalent (required) Certification/Licensure No specific certification or licensure requirements
