Market context

California perioperative tech roles stay competitive

In California, perioperative technician openings in outpatient surgery centers are typically driven by steady surgical volume and the need for reliable day-shift support in fast-paced OR settings. This role is competitive because employers often look for candidates with BLS, a high school diploma or GED, and preferred nursing assistant, perioperative, or CNA experience. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this platform to save time, then confirm your BLS status and highlight any hands-on surgical or patient-care experience in your application.
