About the role

The RN is responsible for providing therapeutic care to patients in the Emergency Department, Triage, and Walk-In Clinic. This includes assessing patient data and collaborating with the healthcare team to meet age-specific needs.

Responsibilities

The Emergency Department RN or Paramedic s responsible and accountable to a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to the patients via therapeutic use of the nursing process, in collaboration and integration with other health care team members.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care relevant to the patient(s) under his/her care, applying principles of growth and development over the life span.
Assesses and interprets patient data needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
Functions in the role of a primary RN in Triage, Main ED, & Walk-In Clinic.

Qualifications

Active Kentucky Registered Nurse Licensure
BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification
At least 1 year of ED RN experience preferred

Requirements

Candidates must hold an active Kentucky Registered Nurse license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. At least one year of experience as an ED RN is preferred.
