Market context
California emergency veterinary coverage is often driven by high caseloads, 24/7 hospital schedules, and the need to fill short-notice shifts, so per diem roles can be competitive. Experienced candidates are usually evaluated on ER speed, triage judgment, and comfort working independently; on this platform, the job requirements and benefits are AI-summarized from the original posting, which can save research time.
