Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) is the clinician-led medical group that provides care exclusively for Kaiser Permanente members in Washington state. With over 1,300 clinicians across more than 30 specialties, WPMG is one of the largest and most respected multi-specialty group practices in the Pacific Northwest.

Summary

Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a Full-Time 1.0 FTE Urologic Salaried Locum Physician to join our Tacoma Medical Center team in Tacoma, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an integrated care delivery system that prioritizes evidence-based medicine, patient-centered care, and physician collaboration.

Position Highlights

This is a multi-disciplinary practice involving the full breadth of urology. There is a team spirit of collaboration with an emphasis on continuous learning, education, quality improvement, and standardization of care and best practices. We have a full multi-disciplinary team of surgeons, physician assistants, and robust support staff, including RNs and MAs. Travel between sites may be required.

Core components of this position include

  • General urology with a focus on the complete spectrum of urologic care
  • Possible travel to other Kaiser Permanente clinics in the region (e.g. Olympia.)
  • Fellowship expertise is supported, however, not required.
  • The ideal candidate will be interested in a comprehensive urology practice
  • Kaiser
  • Tacoma Medical Center is a multispecialty medical center. Lab, Radiology and Pharmacy on site. Office hours are 8am – 5pm Monday through Friday with Urgent Care open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Compensation and Benefits • Salary Range

  • $553,280 to $618,371 (salary will be prorated based on FTE, new hire salaries will be based on factors such as education, training and experience; salary includes a temporary location based premium applicable to this site)

Qualifications

  • Required: BE/BC by the American Board of Urology
  • Preferred: Ideal candidate will be interested in a comprehensive urology practice
  • Ability to obtain: Unrestricted Federal DEA
  • Ability to obtain: WA State Medical License

Requirements

Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Urology. Ability to obtain a Washington State Medical License and an unrestricted Federal DEA is required.
