The Laboratory Assistant I is responsible for verifying, processing, and preparing specimens for clinical and point-of-care testing. They also handle lab-related administrative duties, maintain supply levels, and assist with quality assurance data collection.
The Laboratory Assistant I projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct, and supports the laboratory and Hoag’s mission. Maintains current knowledge of departmental updates, policies and procedures. Uses initiative to resolve problems with appropriate action and follow through, including documentation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
