NSCS’ Youth Elemento is looking for a Young Adult Peer Mentor!
The Young Adult Peer Mentor uses lived experience to connect with and inspire young adults with mental health challenges. We are particularly looking for a mentor that has some experience working with young adults experiencing substance abuse challenges. The Young Adult Peer Mentor provides structured, one-to-one, strength-based support services, groups and is responsible in ensuring the access center is a safe space for all young adults.
Mon & Tue 9am-5pm, Wednesday-Friday 10am-6pm.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, bilingual proficiency in Spanish, and personal lived experience with mental health or system involvement. Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
