Abernathy Home Care is hiring compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to provide exceptional one-on-one care for seniors in Stoneham, Woburn, Wakefield, Melrose, Reading, Medford, and nearby communities.

What you'll do
Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
Support clients with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition
Provide medication reminders
Build meaningful relationships through companionship and conversation
Escort clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
Monitor changes in clients' condition and communicate with the care team
Help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes

Qualifications

Current Massachusetts HHA or PCA Certification
Valid driver's license
Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
Current TB test
Authorized to work in the United States
Dependable, compassionate, and professional
Home care experience is preferred but not required

Requirements

Applicants must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, current auto insurance, and authorization to work in the US. A Massachusetts Home Health Aide Certificate is preferred for HHA positions.
