Peter's provides comprehensive Maternal/Child services, delivering over 2700 babies a year.
The program supports the largest number of deliveries in the Capital region, many of which are high-risk pregnancies and multiple births.
The family centered team YOU will work with includes physicians, licensed nurse midwives, dedicated perinatal nurses, social work and spiritual care services, skilled techs, and lactation consultants.
You will have the opportunity to work with mother and baby as a family unit.

Nurses working in Mother/Baby unit have the support of comprehensive orientation developed by a clinical nurse specialist in maternal/child nursing, on-site BLS and neonatal resuscitation classes, as well as on going clinical education. The staff is highly involved in quality improvement activities, program development, recognition activities, and team building. The clinical ladder program provides the opportunity for professional growth through mentoring, opportunities for leadership, and generous educational funding.
$40.00-$51.10
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Candidates must hold a current New York State RN license. A minimum of one year of experience in Med Surg or Maternity nursing is required.
