Market context

Perfusionist roles are specialized and selective

Perfusionist openings in Alabama are typically tied to cardiac surgery and other high-acuity operating room settings, so demand tends to follow hospital surgical volume and regional cardiovascular service needs. These roles are competitive because employers usually want board certification, current BLS, and formal perfusion training, and this posting’s requirements and benefits are AI-summarized from the original job description to save you research time. If you are considering applying, confirm your certification status and be ready to show experience with operating room teamwork and cardiopulmonary support.
