Monday thru Friday Holiday Rotation (1 Holiday Per Year) No Weekends!!

Role Purpose Performs a variety of pre analytic, analytic and post analytic laboratory duties as assigned.
Performs waived and moderate complex testing with appropriate training and competency, sweat chloride collections, EKG's, etc. Under supervision, reports test results as appropriate. Sorts and processes routine and specific high level specimens received by the lab--including multistep technical processing (i.e. Histology, Microbiology, Cytology, etc.). Ensures correct processing and packaging for esoteric send out tests. Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times. Inventory management, equipment cleaning, maintenance, loading, etc. Minimum Requirements Education High School Diploma or GED Experience 2-5 years Supervisor Experience No Experience Preferred Requirements Education Associate's Degree Licenses & Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) Phlebotomy
