Qualifications

  • Experienced RN & New Grad RN General Responsibilities Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
  • Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
  • The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
  • Delegates appropriate tasks to appropriate members of the patient care team.

Education: High school education or equivalent.

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. Exceptions subject to management discretion.

Prefer one year full-time or three years part- time experience in acute care setting.

TNCC and NRP upon hire or within 6 months of hire Student Nurse (Student Nurse Apprentice Program SNAP) General Responsibilities Utilizing the concepts and foundation of Patient Centered Care, assists the unit with providing safe, competent basic nursing care for patients in accordance with approved, demonstrated competencies and facility policies/procedures/unit standards under the direction of an RN. Provides support to the healthcare team. Always demonstrates Service Excellence standards. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Completed the first semester/quarter at an accredited Nursing school (ASN or BSN program). Concurrent enrollment in a RN Nursing program or a graduate waiting initial NCLEX.

Experience

Prior CNA experience preferred. Proven work history of excellent customer service skills required.

Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at start date.

Recommendation from a School of Nursing Instructor. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
