This role focuses on providing high-quality outpatient psychiatric care to an adult patient population in a collaborative, team-based environment.Position Highlights:Join a team of 11 established and well-respected physiciansConduct new psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for adult patientsDevelop and manage treatment plans, including medication managementFull-time, 36 patient-facing hours per weekMonday–Friday clinic scheduleOutpatient clinic at Orland Park and Inpatient privileges at NM Palos HospitalCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient centered careSupport program development and expansion of advanced behavioral health treatment modalitiesSystem-wide Epic EMRQualificationsMD or DO with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residencyBoard Certified or Board Eligible in PsychiatryEligible for Illinois medical licensureCommitment to patient-centered care and collaborative practiceAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Northwestern Medicine is an equal opportunity employer (disability, VETS) and does not discriminate in hiring or employment on the basis of age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, gender identity, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation or any other protected status.Background CheckNorthwestern Medicine conducts a background check that includes criminal history on newly hired team members and, at times, internal transfers.

Requirements

Must be an MD or DO with a completed accredited Psychiatry residency and be Board Certified or Eligible. Candidates must be eligible for Illinois medical licensure.
