Job Description

Rad Tech Part Time - 24 hours/week - afternoons with weekend rotation Call and Holidays when applicable Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner. Job Duties: Verifies orders, patient name/birth date and history. Performs/documents time out procedure for invasive procedures. Performs routine diagnostic imaging, fluoroscopy, surgery imaging, ED/Urgent care imaging, and assist Radiologist and authorized providers with exams/procedures, as necessary. Produce quality images for Radiologist’s review. Must be able to complete warm up and QC on equipment (i.e. room checks, contrast reactions/infiltrates as required).
