Overview Join Our Dynamic Med-Surg Team at Piedmont WaltonOur 24-bed Medical-Surgical unit offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment caring for a wide range of adult patients, including those with orthopedic needs, general and bariatric surgeries, cardiac/telemetry monitoring, and complex medical conditions.
RN-to-patient ratios typically range from 1:5–6 and PCTs from 1:6–9, allowing for meaningful, team-based patient care.
Team members gain valuable clinical experience with frequent opportunities to perform IV starts, assist with bedside procedures, provide wound care, manage NGTs and chest tubes, administer blood transfusions, and care for post-op, central line, and colostomy patients.
Nurses and PCTs may also float to assist with needs across the hospital, making this a great opportunity for well-rounded clinical growth and collaboration.
