Delivers safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) Provides direct patient care within scope of practice Leads and supports patient and family education Guides and oversees activities of nursing support staff Maintains established standards of care in the Pediatrics Unit Accountable for care of assigned patients Communicates changes in patient condition to physicians, including:Cardiac monitoring results, Diagnostic findings, Symptoms and clinical status Responds promptly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment response
Education and Work Experience Current and valid state RN License. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. Current PALS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
