Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties.
MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care.
Our focus is on long-term health, prevention, diagnosing, and treating diseases effectively.
MAPMG researchers and staff support innovative ideas, ensuring quality care, educational programming, and advancing best practices through research.
Work in a supportive and collegial environment (regional group of over twenty urologists) alongside a fully integrated team that closely collaborates with in-house surgical and medical specialties. Enjoy access to state-of-the-art equipment in the office and operating room (including multiple robots), imaging technology and operating room and procedural suites. Our group has general urologists as well as several urologists with multiple areas of expertise and subspecialty training (oncology, robotics, men’s health, endourology, reconstruction) making us a strong and well-rounded urology department. Call is 1:10 at DC/MD core hospitals.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $233 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
MAPMG continuously works to identify and mitigate healthcare inequities, and that starts with providing an inclusive, supportive environment for our physicians. We encourage applicants of any race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin who commit to practicing culturally competent healthcare.
Market context
Virginia PRN urology openings can be competitive because employers often need flexible coverage for clinics, procedures, or call schedules, and this role also requires licensure in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Candidates with board certification or eligibility, plus a clear plan to secure multi-state licensing, are typically better positioned. On this platform, the job requirements and benefits are AI-summarized from the original posting, helping you review fit faster before applying.
