Description Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Starting pay will vary based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will provide hands-on patient care, assist with treatment plans, and help patients improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life.
Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Administer prescribed therapeutic exercises and treatment programs. Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist. Educate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. Assist patients with mobility aids, including canes, crutches, walkers, and prosthetic devices. Accurately document treatments and patient progress. Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment. Collaborate with team members to achieve positive patient outcomes.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current state PTA license. Current CPR certification. 2–3 years of related experience preferred. Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills. Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented approach to patient care. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients. Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
