How you’ll contribute
The Medical Laboratory Assistant will perform basic laboratory duties to include phlebotomy, along with other specimen collection, and waived testing.
The Medical Laboratory Assistant is responsible for ordering, processing, and distributing laboratory specimens.
Review of pending reports, manifests, etc. for outstanding lab results, assisting other lab personnel with specimen storage and retrieval, ensuring Turn Around Times (TATs) are met; and maintaining inventory for phlebotomy services, reference lab supplies, and departmental office supplies.
Assists with receiving, identifying, accessioning, processing and transporting specimens.
