The technician will support research functions by preparing samples, operating Bruker TimsTOFflex instruments, and performing data analysis. They are responsible for maintaining a safety-compliant laboratory environment and collaborating with researchers to produce high-quality data packets.
Bachelor's Degree in a biological, chemical, or related scientific discipline (or equivalent laboratory experience)
CASBR is a medium throughput collaborative center that facilitates a variety of research projects by preparing samples for MALDI-MSI analysis. Mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) is a novel technique that combines spatial information with mass spectra, generating powerful insights into cancer biology, neurodegenerative disease, and developmental biology among other key research questions.
