Vitalis Healthcare Services is expanding our skilled nursing team and looking for compassionate, dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide in-home skilled nursing visits on a PRN (as-needed) basis.
Through a new partnership, we deliver physician-ordered skilled nursing care directly in patients' homes. You pick up visits as they come in — work the cases that fit your schedule, in the areas convenient to you. This is an ideal opportunity for nurses who want flexibility, autonomy, and strong per-visit compensation without the commitment of a fixed shift schedule.
Complete skilled nursing visits in patients' homes based on physician orders Perform assessments, administer treatments and medications, and carry out ordered skilled tasks within your scope of practice Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up Document each visit accurately and promptly per agency and payer requirements Communicate with the care team and physicians as needed What We're Looking For
Active, unencumbered [Maryland] RN or LPN license (compact license welcome) Current BLS/CPR certification Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Home health or community-based nursing experience preferred (but not required) A professional, patient-centered, and dependable approach to care Why Join Vitalis
