Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care.
Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing.

Full time 40 per week.
Monday-Friday with rotating weekends and holidays.
100%25 travel to the patients homes for care.
Will support Parma and surrounding areas.
Sign-on Bonus: This position is eligible for a $6000 sign-on bonus to eligible candidates.
Eligible candidates must be newly hired to UH and have at least 1yr of RN experience.
University Hospitals is offering a $6,000 sign on bonus, minus applicable taxes, for designated regular full-time RN positions to experienced RN’s (1 years or more) hired externally.
Internal Applicants are not eligible for the sign on bonus.
Diploma in Nursing or (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing required. (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. (MN) Master in Nursing preferred. Knowledge of nursing process and practice. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (i.e. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License Required Upon Hire and Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Upon Hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) May be required based on the clinical care standards of the unit. Refer to ACLS/PALS Unit Requirements document found on DWP Nursing Portal to determine requirements by unit. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) May be required based on the clinical care standards of the unit. Refer to ACLS/PALS Unit Requirements document found on DWP Nursing Portal to determine requirements by unit.
Requires a Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing and a valid Ohio or Multi-State Compact RN license. BLS certification is required upon hire, with ACLS or PALS potentially required based on the unit.
