The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive gynecological care, including patient assessments, preventive screenings, and the management of acute and chronic women's health conditions. They will collaborate with OB-GYN physicians to deliver patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Women's Health Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing Women's Health team.

The PA will provide comprehensive care to women across the lifespan, working collaboratively with OB-GYN physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecological conditions. Perform annual well-woman exams and preventive screenings. Provide contraceptive counseling and family planning services. Evaluate and treat common women's health concerns, including: Menstrual disorders Menopause management Pelvic pain Vaginal infections Urinary tract conditions Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic testing. Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice. Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices. Collaborate with physicians regarding complex patient cases and referrals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR). Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, clinical, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current Physician Assistant license in the State of New York. NCCPA certification required. DEA registration (or ability to obtain). BLS certification required. Women's Health, OB-GYN, Family Medicine, or Primary Care experience preferred. Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required. Preferred Experience 1+ years of Women's Health, OB-GYN, Family Practice, or related clinical experience. Experience with EMR systems (eCW, Epic, Athena, etc.). Familiarity with preventive care guidelines and women's health screenings. Requirements
