About the role

The specialist is responsible for scheduling the Call Center and Mobile Crisis teams to ensure contractual coverage requirements are met. They also support the hiring process for the crisis department, including scheduling interviews and tracking candidates.

What you’ll do

The Administrative Support Specialist is responsible for the scheduling of the Call Center and Mobile Crisis teams to assure both programs have the coverage required by contractual agreements

Essential Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with the program contractual expectations to ensure fulfillment of requirements for scheduling of the Call Center and Mobile Crisis teams.
  • Track and fill shifts as needed per the programmatic needs.
  • Outreach to staff for shift coverage paying attention to program experience requirements.
  • Constant communication with supervisors if there is no shift of coverage to recommend and discuss strategies for coverage.
  • Support hiring of employees acrossthe crisisdepartment to include scheduling of interviews, referencecontactsand tracking hiring process.
  • Assistancewith other programmatic needs as assigned.

What you’ll provide

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of 5 years in a Clerical/Admin role

Effective written and verbal communication skills with proven organizational and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical andproblem solvingskills, attention to detail, and independent judgment.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Ability to juggle multiple projects and make immediate adjustments towork flow/task. Ability to be proactive andanticipateneeds.

Skill inmaintainingrelationships across all levels of the agency and community.

Ability to work well under deadline pressure in afast pacedenvironment supporting several Behavioral Health programs.

Ability tomaintainconfidentiality in dealing with issues of a sensitive nature.

A valid AZ Driver's License with no major infractions inpast39 monthsis required.

Additional Requirements and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm in crisis situations, work independently and cooperatively, recognize personal limitations, and relate positively and with empathy to all persons regardless of age, race, creed,genderor sexual orientation.
  • Maintain professional conduct consistent with ethical professional practice and the policies and procedures of the agency.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and positive working relationships with internal and external team members, stakeholders, and community and business partners.
  • If driving while on agency time or on agency business, a valid Arizona driver license andappropriate liabilityinsurance and approval for liability coverage with EMPACT - SPC’s liability insurance carrier isrequired.   • Attend meetings, training, and agency activities and events outside of regularly scheduled work hours upon request.
