Laboratory Technicians perform limited testing on blood and body fluids to determine the presence or absence of disease, monitor response to treatment and aid in health maintenance (under supervision of Medical Technologists/Medical Laboratory Technicians). Technicians are responsible for specimen processing, preparation and accessioning in addition to various clerical duties to assist in tracking and assurance of appropriate test completion.
