About the role

Operate computerized non-invasive scanning equipment to provide CT radiographic scans for diagnosis. Prepare patients and work under the direction of a Radiologist to study body systems and injuries.

Hourly Pay Range

$33.35 - $51.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

  • Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL
  • Full Time, 40 hours weekly
  • Hours:
  • Monday-Friday, 3pm - 11:30pm, rotating weekends & holidays, on-call schedule

What you will do

Reporting to the Executive Director of Radiology/Imaging with accountability to the Manager and under the direction of a Radiologist, receives and prepares patients and operates computerized, non-invasive scanning equipment to provide computerized tomography (CT) radiographic scans for radiologists and physicians to diagnose patients' injuries and/or study body systems. This is a cross-training opportunity in CT, open to training Radiology Graduates and Radiologic Technologists.

What you will need

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited school in Radiologic Technology, preferred
  • ARRT (R) certification
  • Current IEMA license
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics
  • Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association
