Performs diagnostic MRI examinations, following radiologist’ protocols, for evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Provides radiologist with pertinent clinical information. Demonstrates complete working knowledge of MRI scanner and related equipment. Performs routine protocols and positions patients correctly using appropriate coils. Participates in the quality, process and performance improvement initiatives as requested. Performs timely documentation in radiology computer systems. Meets departmental performance expectations and Customer Service Standards of Excellence

Requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program and a Florida license with BLS certification. Must be ARRT registered and obtain MRI certification within one year, with two years of MRI experience preferred.
