Radiation Therapist - Radiology Oncology at Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock, TX

***Please note that this position is onsite and therefore requires the ability to commute to Covenant Children’s Hospital in Lubbock, TX.***

Coordinates, prepares and administers radiation therapy treatments and simulation procedures to infants, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. Applies appropriate radiation safety, practices, performs quality assurance procedures, and clear and concise documentation. Assumes complete responsibility and accountability with little supervision required. Collaborates with others and seeks direction from supervisor or others as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License upon hire
  • OR-
  • National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a fast-paced Radiation Oncology department

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with a Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License or ARRT certification. One year of experience in a fast-paced Radiation Oncology department is preferred.
