Orthodontist Responsibilities Diagnose and treat orthodontic conditions in children, adolescents, and adults Develop comprehensive treatment plans using braces, clear aligners, and other orthodontic appliances Monitor treatment progress and adjust appliances as needed Educate patients and parents on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and retention protocols Collaborate closely with our general dentists and specialists to ensure coordinated care Maintain detailed clinical documentation and uphold high standards of patient care Foster a welcoming, reassuring environment for patients and families
Completion of an accredited Orthodontic residency program DDS or DMD from an accredited program Active New York dental license Active or in-process DEA license (if applicable) Board-certified or board-eligible preferred Patient-centered, ethical, team-oriented mindset
