Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations according to physician's orders, utilizing a variety of complex ultrasound equipment. Objectively identifies the presence of or absence of disease utilizing a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Assists physicians with more invasive echocardiography examinations including, but not limited to, Transesophageal echocardiography, Trans-catheter echo guided procedures (location specific), pericardiocentesis, echo guided myocardial biopsies (location specific), contrast enhanced exams, exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiography.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Requires Oregon Sonographer licensure, BLS certification, and registration from CCI or ARDMS. An associate degree in noninvasive cardiovascular technology and one year of experience are preferred.
