Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) – Residential Treatment (Girls 12–17) 📍 Cranberry Township, PA 🕒 Full-Time & Per Diem | Multiple Shifts Available $ $18 - $21 per hour

Now Hiring for a Brand-New Girls’ Residential Treatment Facility! DTAC is opening a new residential treatment program for adolescent girls (ages 12–17) and is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our team immediately. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a mission-driven startup environment where you can make a direct impact on youth and families.

Available Shifts 1st Shift

  • 7:00 AM – 3:00
  • PM 2nd
  • Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00
  • PM 3rd
  • Shift: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM (4 days/week)

Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Technician (Residential Treatment Staff) provides direct care, supervision, and therapeutic support to adolescent residents. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment while promoting positive behavioral and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities Ensure safety, supervision, and well-being of all residents Support positive behavior management and social development Provide direct care and engagement with youth (1:1 and group settings) Assist with daily routines, structure, and programming Complete daily documentation, including progress notes and logs Participate in therapeutic groups and recreational activities Collaborate with caseworkers and treatment team Support individualized treatment plans and goals Assist with crisis intervention as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Age 21+ required High School Diploma or GED required Experience in behavioral health, human services, youth care, or residential settings preferred Valid driver’s license required

Required Clearances (or ability to obtain) PA Child Abuse Clearance (Act 33) PA Criminal Background Clearance FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 73) ✅ Have active clearances? We can onboard you faster!

Training Requirements Ability to complete Safe Crisis Management (SCM) training (provided)
