We are seeking a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to support our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Stroudsburg, PA.
10 hours/week (onsite) supporting Monroe County, Carbon County, and Pike County.
Earn up to $80.00/hour (depending on experience)
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is part of a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive mental health care to patients living with chronic mental illness. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with our care team to diagnose and manage patients' mental health concerns. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide services in the community.
Assertive Community Treatment, or ACT, is a way of delivering a full range of services to people who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness. ACT's goal is to give consumers adequate community care and to help them have a life that isn't dominated by their mental illness. ACT is designed to support individuals who have been unsuccessful with traditional mental health services.

Experience with integrated health preferred.
Experience in crisis intervention, urgent care, or emergency psychiatric settings is preferred.
Licensed in State of Pennsylvania.
Valid Child Abuse, State Criminal and FBI Fingerprint clearances.
Master’s degree in nursing with a focus on psychiatric-mental health.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare technology.
Requires a Master's degree in nursing with a PMHNP certification, prescriptive authority, and a Pennsylvania license. A minimum of one year of experience in community mental health is required.
